Our current farming operation was started by James Bergey III to provide Bergey's Breadbasket customers with homegrown quality produce. James with the help of many family members specializes in seasonal produce. He will grow lettuce in the spring, tomatoes and sweet corn in the summer, collards and broccoli in the fall, and carrots in late fall to winter.  James says "Bergey's Breadbasket Produce strives to provide crops that are grown with only organically approved methods of pest control and fertilization and our only herbicide is good ol' fashioned hard work.
